Jade-style oolongs are among the lightly fermented classics. The bright, fresh aroma is preserved by the low oxidation level (approx. 15–25 %), while the semi-fermentation provides more depth than classic green tea:

ORIGIN & CULTIVATION

Oolong tea has its origin in ChinaOur Jade Oolong comes from certified organic cultivation in line with EU Organic guidelines. Chemical-synthetic pesticides or fertilisers are entirely avoided. The leaves are traditionally rolled, briefly withered and gently semi-fermented – a process that keeps the aroma and cup colour especially bright and elegant.
PREPARATION
How to achieve the perfect infusion
Light-green oolongs like the China Jade need a medium water temperature – a little hotter than green tea, but distinctly cooler than boiling water for black tea.
📌 Recommended preparation
Water temperature: 85–90 °C (let the water cool for 1–2 min. after boiling)
Dosage: 1 tsp per 250 ml of water
Steeping time (1st infusion): 2–3 minutes
Multiple infusions: infuse 3–5 times, adjusting the steeping time each time
Enjoy: strain and drink at leisure – plain, without milk or sugar
