PREPARATION
How to achieve the perfect infusion
The fine seeds unfold their full aroma best when given enough time to steep. Since the tea is caffeine-free, it is also suitable for enjoying in the evening:

Water temperature: 95–100 °C (freshly boiling)
Dosage: 1 heaped tsp per 250 ml (~2 g)
Steeping time: 8–10 minutes (seeds need a longer steeping time than leaves)
Enjoy: plain or with a little honey
🌱 Tip: Lightly crush the seeds
For a more intense aroma, lightly crush the fennel, anise and caraway seeds in a mortar before infusing — this helps the essential aromas to unfold better. All three seeds are very rich in aroma, but because of their hard shell they need a little "help" to release their full profile into the water.
