Wild Berry Fruit Tea — the classic German berry tea. Fruity blackberry, sweet raspberry, rounded blueberry and elderberry on a base of hibiscus and rosehip. Deep red cup, berry-round in taste, caffeine-free, a piece of forest walk in the cup.

Our Wild Berry Fruit Tea is the classic German berry favourite — a carefully composed fruit tea blend with the full variety of German forest and meadow fruits: blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, elderberry and strawberry, embedded in a fruity base of hibiscus flowers, rosehip and apple pieces.

Brewed hot, the tea yields a deep red, full-bodied cup with a berry-round, sweet profile. Plain as a warming tea to enjoy, or as a cold-brew iced tea, perfect for summer days and forest picnics.

Taste & Character

Fruity. Sweet. Berry-round.

  • First note: sweet raspberry and rounded blueberry
  • Middle: fruity blackberry and hibiscus tartness
  • Finish: elderberry depth and soft strawberry sweetness
  • Mouthfeel: round, full-bodied, berry-warm

  • Apple pieces: gentle sweetness
  • Blackberry pieces/leaves: fruity-tannic, classically woodland

Quality & Origin

Careful composition · Natural flavourings

Hibiscus and rosehip come from classic fruit-tea growing regions (Sudan, Egypt, Chile), berries and apple pieces from European growing areas — many classic berries such as blackberry, raspberry, elderberry and blueberry traditionally grow in German and Central European forests. We use exclusively natural flavourings — no artificial additives, no added sugar, no sweeteners.

The blend is carefully packed in Germany — in small batches, with a focus on aroma freshness.

Storage

How the aromas stay fresh

  • Store dry & cool, not above 25 °C
  • Airtight in the original packaging or a tea caddy
  • Protected from light — avoid direct sunlight
  • After opening, consume within 6 months for best aroma

🧊 Summer tip · Wild berries on ice

This blend makes a wonderfully deep-red, berry-round, sweet iced tea — perfect for garden afternoons, picnics or as a non-alcoholic summer spritz. Cold brew overnight in the fridge, in the morning serve over ice with a few fresh raspberries and blackberries. Optionally with a splash of sparkling wine or tonic for an elegant berry aperitif on balmy summer evenings.

Stored correctly, at least 18 months — the exact best-before date is on the packaging. After opening, consume within 6 months for best aroma.

Note: Tea is a food, not a medicine. In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies (e.g. Asteraceae with hibiscus, berry allergies) or health complaints, please consult a doctor. Hibiscus contains natural acids — enjoy with care if you have a sensitive stomach. For small children, give berry teas only in consultation with a paediatrician.
