🌿 EU Organic 🌿 Single-Origin · Refreshing 🇩🇪 Processed in Germany

Single-origin organic herbal tea made from peppermint leaves — fresh, clear and minty. A timeless tea classic with an unmistakable aroma — pure as an infusion or as a base for your own creations.

The Organic Fresh Mint Tea is a single-origin peppermint specialty in certified EU organic quality. Peppermint (Mentha × piperita) is one of the best-known and most popular tea plants in Europe — prized for its unmistakable fresh, minty aroma. A timeless classic that convinces both hot and chilled, at any time of day. All leaves come from certified organic farming.

TASTE & CHARACTER

Refreshing, clear, zesty and minty

This single-origin classic impresses with an unmistakable flavour profile:
  • Aroma: zesty and fresh with a clear menthol note and a hint of green herbal notes
  • Cup colour: light golden to greenish, clear and brilliant
  • Taste: unmistakably refreshing, slightly sweet-fresh on the first sip, clear finish
  • Character: classic, timeless & suitable for every day — a tea for every moment

THE INGREDIENT

Pure peppermint — single-origin and unmistakable

This variety consists of 100% a single organic ingredient — no blends, no added flavourings:
  • Peppermint leaves (Mentha × piperita): dried peppermint leaves from certified organic farming, single-origin
What is peppermint? Peppermint (Mentha × piperita) is a hybrid plant of watermint and spearmint that has been rooted in European herbal tradition for centuries. Characteristic of it is its high menthol content, which makes this tea a timeless classic. Single-origin means: you taste the unmistakable aroma of peppermint without it being overshadowed by other ingredients.

BREWING

How to brew the perfect infusion — hot or as iced tea

Peppermint unfolds its full aroma with hot water. Since it is caffeine-free, it is also suitable for enjoying in the evening:

📌 Classic preparation

  1. Water temperature: 95–100 °C (freshly boiled)
  2. Dosage: 1 heaped teaspoon per 250 ml (~2 g)
  3. Steeping time: 5–7 minutes
  4. Enjoy: pure or with a little honey and a dash of lemon

🧊 As a summery iced tea

  1. Prepare the tea hot as above — dosed a little stronger (1.5 tsp per 250 ml)
  2. After steeping, strain and let cool in the refrigerator
  3. Pour over ice cubes — optionally with fresh mint leaves, a slice of lemon/lime and honey

ORGANIC QUALITY & ORIGIN

Care from the plantation to the cup

  • 100% EU organic certified — peppermint leaves from certified organic farming (DE-ÖKO-039)
  • Packaged in Germany — short supply chains, transparent processing
  • No artificial flavourings — the minty freshness comes from the plant alone
  • No additives — no colourings or preservatives
  • Gently processed — aroma protection is a priority

STORAGE

Storage & shelf life

  • Airtight sealed: tea tin made of metal or dark glass
  • Protected from light & dry: not in the refrigerator (condensation!)
  • Always store separately: the intense menthol note transfers very strongly to other teas — use a dedicated tin!
  • Shelf life: approx. 18–24 months (single-origin herbs are very aroma-stable)
