🌿 EU Organic ⚡ Invigorating & fresh 🇩🇪 Processed in Germany

A bold organic tea blend based on green tea — with mate, rosemary and peppermint. A multi-layered, invigorating composition with a clear, fresh aroma for lovers of herby, spicy flavour profiles.

The BIO Focus Tea combines Japanese Sencha green tea with South American mate, along with Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary and fresh peppermint plus citrus accents. A characterful, invigorating composition with a clear aroma profile — enjoyed neat or as iced tea. All ingredients come from certified organic farming.

TASTE & CHARACTER

Invigorating, fresh, herby-spicy

This blend impresses with a multi-layered, fresh flavour profile:
  • Aroma: a mildly tannic green tea base meets a spicy mate note, fresh peppermint and Mediterranean rosemary herbiness
  • Cup colour: golden-green with clear reflections
  • Taste: balanced and fresh — herby from rosemary & peppermint, spicy from mate, mildly tannic from green tea, with a citrus finish
  • Character: characterful, clear & invigorating in aroma

THE INGREDIENTS

Multi-layered organic components in harmonious balance

All components come from certified organic farming and are gently processed:
  • Green tea (Sencha): mildly tannic base, natural caffeine
  • Mate: spicy-herby, distinctive — the South American tradition
  • Rosemary: Mediterranean-herby, characterful
  • Peppermint: zesty and fresh, a clear coolness in the aroma
  • Lemongrass: mild citrus freshness
  • Orange peel: zesty citrus freshness
  • Natural lemon flavouring: harmoniously enhances the citrus note

PREPARATION

How to get the perfect brew — hot or as iced tea

Since this tea contains green tea, a slightly lower water temperature applies than for pure herbal or mate teas — this helps you avoid bitterness from the green tea:

📌 Classic preparation

  1. Water temperature: 80–85 °C (let the water cool for 1–2 min. after boiling)
  2. Dosage: 1 heaped tsp per 250 ml (~2 g)
  3. Steeping time: 3–5 minutes
  4. Enjoy: neat or with a splash of fresh lemon

🧊 As a zesty iced tea

  1. Prepare the tea hot as above — dosed a little stronger (1.5 tsp per 250 ml)
  2. After steeping, strain and let cool in the refrigerator
  3. Pour over ice cubes — optionally with fresh lemon/lime slices and mint

ORGANIC QUALITY & ORIGIN

Care from the plantation to the cup

  • 100% EU Organic certified — all ingredients from certified organic farming (DE-ÖKO-039)
  • Packed in Germany — short supply chains, transparent processing
  • With natural flavouring — no artificial flavouring
  • No additives — no colourants or preservatives
  • Gently processed — aroma protection is a priority

STORAGE

Storage & shelf life

  • Airtight sealed: tea tin made of metal or dark glass
  • Protected from light & dry: not in the refrigerator (condensation!)
  • Separate from more intense teas: the herby-spicy note can transfer to other varieties
  • Shelf life: approx. 12–18 months (the green tea component is more sensitive than pure herbal teas)
