The ORGANIC Blood Orange Tea brings the intense aroma of ripe blood oranges into your cup: an organic fruit tea composition with blood orange pieces, orange peel, fruity apple and the refreshing acidity of hibiscus. A sip of Mediterranean summer with a characteristic sweet-and-sour profile — all ingredients come from certified organic cultivation.

PREPARATION
How to brew the perfect infusion — hot or as iced tea
Since the tea is caffeine-free and consists exclusively of fruits and flowers, it tolerates boiling water very well. It becomes especially summery when chilled:
📌 Classic preparation
Water temperature: 95–100 °C (freshly bubbling)
Dosage: 1 heaped tsp per 250 ml (~2 g)
Steeping time: 8–10 minutes
Enjoy: pure — the natural fruit sweetness needs no sugar
🧊 As a summery iced tea
Prepare the tea hot as above — with a slightly stronger dosage (1.5 tsp per 250 ml)
After steeping, strain and let cool in the refrigerator
Pour over ice cubes — optionally with fresh blood orange slices, a splash of lime juice and mint

Storage & shelf life
Airtight: tea tin made of metal or dark glass
Protected from light & dry: not in the refrigerator (condensation!)
Separate from more intense teas: the sweet-citrusy blood orange note can transfer to other varieties
Shelf life: approx. 12–18 months (fruit teas with flavourings are somewhat more sensitive than pure herbs)

The ORGANIC Blood Orange Tea is a pure fruit tea (caffeine-free, fruity-citrusy). The ORGANIC Blood Orange Turmeric Tea, on the other hand, is based on green tea with turmeric (contains caffeine, spicy-fruity). A matter of personal taste.
The blend contains hibiscus flowers and citrus peel, which have a tart character. For a sensitive stomach, we recommend enjoying the tea in moderate amounts or shortening the steeping time a little (5–7 min.) — this makes the acidity milder. citrus peel
